How can you help out YoungTrappers.com?
Thank you for taking the time out to get involved.  Now some of you want to know how you can help out YoungTrappers.com?  Well everybody can help out in one way or another.  We need help in all aspects of this program from people just like you.
1. The ways some people can help out is by getting active in our Forums and helping the kids out in there with questions they may have.
2. We need mentors for these young future trappers to contact for more of a one on one type training buy having yourself listed as a Mentor kids from your local areas can contact you for whatever help they may need.  Also If your main target furbearer is Red Fox " just an example" kids from other states may contact you for info on the furbearers you trap.
3. Donations of trapping gear, supplies  and information " New & Used"  will always be needed buy us. We are not saying you have to go out and by a new book to donate.  That old book that's been sitting on the shelf for years would be just fine. I'm sure we all have something we can donate to this program weather it be an old trap that needs parts, an old magazine, half a bottle of lure or a tool that you no longer use. The object to put these items to use again and get kids involved in the sport we all hold so dear.
4.We will also accept donations of warm clothing that maybe your children have outgrown such as jackets, gloves, boots, waders and so on. These items will be greatly appreciated by the new trappers out there experiencing what trapping is all about. These items don't have to be in new condition either. Use your own judgment if it can be repaired we will gladly take it.
5. Money donations- Some people don't have any gear that they can donate but would rather donate a few dollars to help us with shipping these items. We accept amounts as low as $1.00.  We know that nobody is made of money and we don't expect a Donald Trump Donation.  What ever you could donate would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.
6. Fur Donations- Some would rather donate dried furs that we send to auction so the proceeds can go towards the program. All furs if required by state law must be provided with proper tags. This is probably one of the easiest donations to make as it doesn't cost you anything in supplies. You simply trap because you enjoy it. And a donated fur or two will help these children experience the same feelings as a trapper. For more information on donating furs please click here
7. Merchandise Sales- We currently have merchandise for sale that all the proceeds go to the program. This is our way of making some money for the program and also to offer you nice merchandise. For more information on our Merchandise click here
